HOW TO GET PACKED

The question  of  what to pack comes up  before  every trip and, as a rule, is  followed  by  another question: what  to pack  it into. People, women  in particular, always feel  that they don’t  have  enough suitcases.  Anyway, we normally  content  ourselves  with  one or two suitcases, preferring  that  they  are not only  trendy  but also convenient  to carry.
The  variety  of  suitcases offered by  various  vendors  today  may  confuse  even  the most  discriminating customers.

                                                                                   Suitcases  should  stand  out  not
only  for their  stylish  looks  but
                                                                                      also  for their  convenience.

Each suitcase has  its  specific “mission”
Some  suitcases are  good  for  traveling  on a train,  others  are convenient  for  short trips,  and  some suitcases are able  to  withstand  the stress of baggage  handling  on a plane.
For longer trips,  especially  where  additional  landings  and boarding’s  are involved,  preference  should  be  given  to  hard-sided suitcases with  wheels  and a lot  of compartments  and  side pockets. For executive  travelers,  hold-alls are quite  suitable  for  carrying  suits  and shirts  alike.
When  purchasing  a suitcase, take  your  time  to  check  it for  sturdiness and  make  sure  the handles  are  comfortable  and  the locks  are secure. Try  to choose  one that  is sure to serve  you for  more  than a year. Everyone  wants to economize,  but  we do not recommend  that  you  save  on  suitcases, unless  you  are  willing  to buy  a new  one  before  each  trip. You know  what  people  say: a niggard  pays twice.

   For  air travels, roller-bladed
  suitcases  are  very practical,
  especially  when  you  cannot
    cut down  your  luggage.

Size  does  matter…
For  a single  traveler an  ideal solution would  be a middle-sized  suitcase  combined  with a travel bag. If you are traveling  alone, try  to  stay away from  giant  suitcases, keeping  in  mind  that you will have  to lift  and carry  them many  times during your  trip, for instance  on  elevators. For  air travels,  roller-bladed  suitcases  are  very  practical,  especially  when  you cannot  cut  down  your  luggage.
However, if  your  suitcases  refuses  to  accommodate  your  fifth  pair of shoes  and  won't  close, you should  not  swear at  it or jump  on it trying  to close it  with your body weight. Otherwise  you will face  the trouble  of  withdrawing  broken  or  crumpled  things  out of it. You  just  need  to learn  how to pack  right( we will teach you that in our next issue).
Try to be  conspicuous…
You enter a store  intending  to  buy  an upscale  brand suitcase, which  should certainly be  black.  But  wait  a second… Clearly, black is  elegant  and  impressive, but it will not stand  out. And who knows  what you will have to face during  your  travel. So, you might want to reconsider your  option  of back.
Be audacious, stand out against the  crowd, pick a vivid  color because  not  only  are bright  colors  in style, they  are  also  easily  identifiable  among all other  baggage  and you  will not  confuse  your bag with others.  If, however,  you  choose  a black  suitcase, then  you  should  add some  distinctive  accessory  like, for instance, a  dangler. Another  option  would  be  placing  a name tag  with  your  address and  telephone  number in  the  pocket.
For  your information, suitcases  and  bags  of  light  tones  would  be  good  to  have  packed  in  protective  cellophane  wrap. It will cost  you a little, but  otherwise  chances  are  slim  that  your  suitcase will return  to  you clean  and  tidy.

BEFRIEND YOUR BOSS

Sometimes the hardest  friend  to make is the one that  signs   your paycheck.  We  all  want  to have a great  relationship  with  our  boss,  but  we  need  to  straddle  the line between being  a proper  employee  and a total brownness.
There’s  actually a right  and a wrong way to befriend your  boss and it starts  with thinking  of your boss as  a person rather than as an authority figure. Truth be told, your boss wants to like the people he works  with just  as  much  as  you do. Developing  a friendship  with  your  boss is  simply about learning  to interact  on a mature  social  level. You can do that, can’t you?
Want to do
The best way  to connect  with and befriend  your boss  is  to show  him  that you’re  a good guy on a personal  level, and not just on a professional level. Managers promote  people  who they know  and like, which makes developing  a friendship with your boss a smart career move.
Partner up outside the office
It’s unsurprising that we,  as  people, tend to gravitate toward other people who enjoy the same or similar things. But  of you really want to sweeten  your  boss up, find a way to partner up with him outside of the office.
Whether it’s on the racquetball court, the shooting  range  or the golf course, cubicle  dwellers  naturally  come  together  when  there is a common activity  that bonds them outside  of the office. Engaging in friendly  activities outside the office with your boss are also nice  ways  to build   a  relationship that  isn’t based on authority, but rather  camaraderie, like the rest of  your friendships  were made.
Get into his world
Talking about  office  politics  and  customer  complaints  only  reminds  your  boss  that  he is  your  boss  and not your  friend. But  when  you  talk about  more  personal  topics, like  his  favorite  sports  team  or  a great  vacation  spot, you're  talking  like  you're speaking  to  your  friend, not  your  boss. Try  to direct  the conversation  toward  topics  that  feel  personal  and  natural,  not forced  and  political.
 Ask about the small stuff
While you may not  really  care that  your boss' kid is turning 5, your  boss does. You don't  need  to be a total kiss ass, but  mentioning  the small items  -like birthdays, his  favorite  sports team  winning  a game  or  when  you read about his  alma mater in  the paper-really  makes  a difference. This is, after all, how  friends  interact.
The key  to  the  game  here  is a natural  approach, so a casual  mention  during your  conversation  makes sense. But dropping off a big  present  for  his  kid may lead him to think you're  trying  too hard  or  gunning  for a  promotion. It's easy  to lose  your  intent to befriend  your  boss  with  a bad delivery.
Meet their spouse
When your boss wants  to complain, he complains  to his spouse. Se being  one of  the few  people that your boss' spouse  knows, and  likes, can help  you a ton, especially  if the complaint  is about you.
You'd be  surprised how  powerful of  an  ally  his  spouse can  be when she is  on  your  side, and what  a bitter enemy  she  can be  when  she isn’t. Any first-person  contact  is meaningful,  whether  it’s a 10-minute  conversation  at the  holiday  party  or  an  after-work  meeting  for  dinner and  drinks. Make  sure  you  create  an alliance  with  the real decision  maker.
  What to avoid
As you’re becoming the fraternity brother  that your boss never had, it’s easy to get caught up  in the relationship. You want  to be Dr. Evil’s smooth Number Two,  not Mr. Burs’ butt-kissing  Smithers.
Don’t be  the shoulder to cry on
Maybe  your boss  is having  a tough time at home and he just needs someone  to  confide in. A simple confession may turn  into a more serious reliance  on you to be an emotional crutch during his hardship. Be extremely careful  that personal matters only go so far. Remember, you want more Dr. Evil and less Dr. Phil.
 Avoid employee gossip

It may feel great that your boss  is willing to  gossip to  you about the lousy  job your coworkers are doing, but it’s not information you really want  to know. Heaven  forbid that you find  out your coworker is about to be fired. Now you’re sitting  in a totally uncomfortable situation.
You’re better off nipping that problem in the bud and  changing the subject  as quickly  as possible. Once word gets out that you have an inside track on how people are performing, your coworkers will start alienating you like they do your boss, principally out of fear.
 Don’t reveal everything
Your boss wants to believe that when you show up for work every day that you’re ready to do your best. The last  thing he wants to hear  is how you barely slept last night because you were out all night partying with your college  buddies. As a general rule. Don’t tell your boss anything you wouldn’t be willing to tell your grandmother.  After all, she still thinks you’re a saint, right?
 Know when to say when
Going out and having a drink with your boss   can be a great way to loosen up and get personal; however, going out and having 10drinks and turning into Frank the Tank is just a really bad idea. You can let loose all you want around your coworkers at an office party, but the last impression you want to give is your frat-boy radix  in front of your boss.
 Be cool friendly guy
The best of both worlds is to be friendly while still maintaining your cool. As soon as you start treating your boss like a man crush, you’re going to create an uncomfortable  situation for everyone involved.

TOP 10: BEAUTIFUL BEACHES

Imagine lying on some warm sand, with drink in hand and having sunscreen gently rubbed all over your body. So sit back and enjoy as we embark on a trip to the world’s most popular beaches.
10  Number 10
Phi  Phi , Thailand
The  first tip is to book in advance, especially if you wish to get the best hotel rate.  In any case, Phi Phi has two islands: Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Leh (smaller). The larger Ko Phi Phi Don houses several fine  restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It’s pretty busy from November until January because that’s when skies are blue, the water is calm, and the air is at its driest. Overall, the weather is fine during the rainy season, except for the fact that the humidity will make you sweat profusely.
9 Number 9
Tenerife, Canary Islands
Sitting very close to the equator, the Canary Islands offer visitors yearlong stable weather. Tenerife is the largest component in the Canary Island archipelago (the Islands are part of Spain). An artificial reef bunkers its beaches. The weather is near perfect, ranging from 20 C to 25 C, with water temperatures ranging from 19C to 22 c. Impressively, this island receives less than 30 days of rain each year. Avoid holidays if you do not like the masses, while May and November are the slowest months.
8 Number 8
Boracay, Philippines
While  less known than some of the other finalists, Boracay has received numerous accolades, especially for its “White Beach”, situated at the West Coast between the villages of Angol and Balabag. The water is shallow here, and the sand is brighter and finer than most beaches in the archipelago. With over 350beach resorts and 2,000 rooms, you’re looking for. Boracay also offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, pubs, and nightclubs that bop until morning.
7   Number 7
Natadola Beach, Fiji
Surprisingly, Fiji’s weather is fairly warm but never reaches extremes. Natadola Beach is located on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu, and is perhaps the most beautiful white-sand beach there. Natadola offers natural beauty, as well as activities ranging from snorkeling to horseback riding. If you like mild and dry weather May and October, while  warm and humid-weather seekers should visit from November to April.

6 Number 6

South Beach, Florida
You will party so hardy here that South Beach will be tattooed in your mind. While the beach itself is obviously great, South Beach is far more of a social experience than an exercise in sunbathing, peaking between November and April, where the rest of the continent is cold. Flip over, it’s time to suntan the other side on the world’s greatest beaches…

5 Number 5

Negril, Jamaica
Negril makes the list because its weather is perfect and consistent year round. Surprisingly, Jamaica is spared throughout the October hurricane season. This beach offers 7 miles of heavenly white sand, restaurants along the waterfront, and a soothingness that will make you wish your Jamaican friends could adopt you. Jamaica’s summer season is perhaps more interesting as the beach is not jam-packed and the hotel rates are 30% lower than in the winter.

4 Number 4

Surfer’s Paradise, Australia
Millions of visitors flock to the Gold Coast to surf, swim, surf, party, and surf some more. Besides the beach, shoppers can attend numerous theme parks as well as attractions such as Movie World or Sea World. If that doesn’t make you tired, then visit the various clubs and bars, or even the Casino. You will find the most visitors between December and February. This is also the time that you’ll encounter some of the hottest temperatures, so don’t  forget the sunscreen.
3 Number 3
Cancun, Mexico
Beaches,  beaches  and more  beaches. Cancun offers everything to everyone; luxury accommodations and nonstop partying  (especially in February and March, when Universities export their  hottest and horniest to Cancun). And to think that this was once a docile village along the  Yucatan coast someone must be  turning over in their grave. Well the Aztec Gods deliver at least 250days of sunshine, which helps put tourists to sleep at siesta time.  Later in the summer is a good time if you wish to save money, but whatever you do, go  somewhere else in September and October  unless  of course you enjoy storms.
2  Number 2
Waikiki, Hawaii
One of the world’s most famous beaches, Waikiki is on the island of Oahu and offers patrons comfortable island charm with cosmopolitan amenities, as tourists from around the world join the celebrities. The best time to visit ranges from mid- December through the end of March, but the best deals can be found from April to mid-December. Summer temperatures hover around 30 C.
1 Number 1
Copacabana, Brazil
Copacabana is often regarded as the world’s most famous beach. It spans over 4.5 kms right in front of the residential area of Rio de Janeiro. The scenery is breathtaking as granite rocks surround the gateway to the bay. The city offers some great spending possibilities with shopping centers, movie theaters, fashion and jewelry shops, as well as the regular horde of restaurants and nightclubs. The summer season runs from December to February with weather ranging from about 25C to 35 C. The beach also has a parade feel to it, as beautiful bodies and gorgeous faces play paddle games and tennis.
Be a beach bum
Now that you know where the best beaches in the world are, the only stress you have left is picking which one you want to go to and saving money for your travels. Now hit the beach, relax and have fun. And remember :It’s OK to be a beach bum.

LEAVE WORK AT WORK

Leave work at work and spend time with your family
It’s a fact, we live to work in a society that puts great emphasis on material things. The need to acquire new stuff has transformed the typical nine-to-five job  into  a hectic, all-day, every-day task in order to survive. With such high demands for time from our employers and our own families, it’s not surprising that a majority of guys just don’t know when enough is enough and are immensely overworked. But you don’t have to be.
As the man of the house, you have a responsibility to provide for your family and to be successful, but that doesn’t mean working your way into an early grave. Finding a balance between being successful and knowing when to be a regular Joe-Scheme is something that we all struggle with.
No matter what your job or position in life is, the desire to give it your all and push your way to the top  is incredibly strong and often causes other aspects of our lives to suffer; mostly our personal affairs. Not only do we work projects home, we also tend to bring home our emotional luggage. It’s this stress, anxiety and often anger that could potentially be the most damaging.
So, how do you leave work at work? Take a look at the suggestions below and remember the words of Rita Mae Brown; “Don’t trade the stuff of your life---time---for dollars. That’s a rotten bargain.”
How to keep work at work
Unwind before you get home
Your coworkers are constantly coming to you for projects and deadlines that have long since passed, your inbox is  overflowing with external and internal demands –you feel like you’ve just arrived at the office and yet, it’s suddenly 5:00p.m. You arrive home to more questions from a probing partner, who is only curious about your day ( insert explosion here).
Bringing work-related stress home can be detrimental to any relationship, be it with your child, friend or significant other. So, if you’ve had a particularly stressful day at work, take the long way home. Use that extra time alone to cool off; listen to your favorite music, scream if you have to…just get it all out before you walk through the front door. Home is not the source of your stress: it is your escape, your retreat. Keep it that way.
Boss people at work, not at home
Just because you hold power at the office doesn’t mean you can start bossing people around in your off hours. While taking initiative and being assertive at work are great leadership qualities, doing so outside the office will lead to confrontation.
No one likes to be told what to do, especially not in an environment where everyone is supposed to be on a level playing field. Don’t bring your power trip home. Think of home as a chance to relieve   yourself of all responsibilities and worries associated with being in charge. Let your friends and family share in the decision making; they’ll appreciate your cooperative attitude and you’ll have a chance to relax.
Leave gossip at the water cooler
No matter how structured or professional a corporation is, drama often bubbles to the top of many conversations. From employee spats to secret love affairs (come on, you know they happen) stories and rumors circulate and we often can’t help but get caught up in the messy details. No matter  how juicy the gossip, try not  to bite into it too hard.
Getting yourself tangled up in office drama is not only detrimental to your work ethic, but can also cause your work  life to overflow into  your personal life. Sure, you can have professional friendships with your coworkers and chitchat during office hours, but when that big hand hits 5:00 p. m. and you walk out those office doors, leave it all behind.
How to get your life back
Disconnect-completely
There are particular jobs that require open lines of communication via Blackberries, pagers and cell phones; however, if those devices are simply being used “just in case,” then turn them off when you’re not at work. Your eagerness isn’t a sign of determination, rather it shows a lack of focus on your personal affairs. Knowing when to turn it off is crucial to a health, well-balanced life.
If you must work at home, dedicate a specific area in the house; somewhere you can be undisturbed in your “work mode.” Make sure to put a time constraint on your homework, as limits must be set for working after hours. Do not let work encroach upon your personal life. Bringing your laptop to bed to finish a few reports is just wrong—and it’s not the type of gadget she was hoping for, I’m sure.
How to take personal days and when to say no…
  Take personal days
Now, we are all entitled to a number of “personal days” throughout the year.  Take them. Personal days are not a code name for “ catch-up days” designed to let you sneak home with a company laptop and catch  up on all the things you’ve been unable to complete, free of  the distractions at work. And they are most definitely not   “I’m still available, if you need me just call or e-mail me” days either. You are unavailable—make sure everyone knows that fact.
These days are designed to give you a break; to let you recharge and rest so that you are ready to tackle the chaos of work once again. We all need downtime, no matter how successful or otherwise, so stop fighting the urge; grab a cold one, unplug the phone, turn off the PC and the cell, and kick back.
  Know when to say no
There comes a time in every man’s career when the limits of his workload are pushed. No matter how sympathetic your employer seems, he will inevitably try and have you do as much as is humanly possible. The key word there is; humanly. We are only human and there are limits to the amount of work we can accomplish. It’s OK to say no and turn down proposed projects and assignments.
Saying no doesn’t mean you’ve failed your company or your life. Saying no means you’ve taken control of the situation and realized your limitations. Juggling is one thing, being pelted with random flying balls while trying to catch them is quite another. Know when to tell the difference and put a stop to the madness. An overload at work means an overflow into personal time, so make sure your nine-to-five window and not one minute outside of that.
All work and no play
Being overworks will turn any man into a very dull, stresses-out, crabby, snarky, emotionally unavailable boy indeed. Keep in mined that it’s not laziness or lack of motivation that’s being promoted here, far from it. What’s being suggested is that you maintain a healthy balance between work and your actual life. It is a hard concept to grasp, but work is not, not should it ever be, your entire existence.
Letting work control your every move in and out of the office is a sure sign of weakness, if you want to be the man of the house, show how manly you can truly be by leaving the office where it belongs and spending quality time with your family and friends during your off time.

THE TALL AND SKINNY MAN

Don’t wear vertical stripes
No woman  wants a man who looks  like he’s withering  away, so  if you’re tall and thin choose horizontal  stripes to bulk you up a bit. A single, large horizontal  stripe across the chest area  can be particularly flattering because it will make your shoulders appear  broader and will make you  look like  you have a perfect physique.

Avoid monochromatic looks
If you wear a solid color from head to toe (especially black), you’ll seem even thinner than you are, so break up your look by wearing a few different colors in your outfit. Fortunately, playing around with the color palette should be fun and you’ll get to experiment with a lot of different looks.

Choose fitted shirts
Loose-fitting, untouched shirts will billow around you and make  you look like the mainsail on a mast, so you’ll want to choose something more fitted instead.
While you should avoid skintight shirts because they will accentuate your bony upper half, do choose slim-cut shirts and learn how to layer them to fake a bit more mass.
Follow these tips if you’re a tad on the vertically challenged side…
Stay away from skinny jeans
The anorexic female model/80s rocker look is never a flattering one for a man, so just say no to skinny jeans. A straight-cut or boot-cut jean with a long inseam will flatter you best.
Choose lighter colors
Lighter colors will make you appear slightly larger, so choose whites, creams, light blues, light grays, and pastels to visually bulk you up  a bit.

CONSIDER ACCESSORIES
Clever accessories, like a great necklace, tie or hat can keep people’s eyes on your face, making them less likely to pay attention to your stature. Of all your accessory choices, a hat is probably best as it is a fantastic way to provide the illusion of an extra inch or two of height. And by newsboy cap for an artsy look.
Avoid really big prints
On smaller bodies, giant prints will overwhelm. One way to add quirk to your closet with prints is to choose small prints, like a graphic black and white print or small checks. So if you’re shorter, have fun with your wardrobe by keeping your prints proportionate to your body.
Wear a small rise

The rise in your pants is the distance between the crotch of your pants and the waistband. Shorter men should wear the smallest rise in their pants that they can get away because a really long rise will make you look like you have  a negative butt, as well as making what you’ve got in front look nonexistent. In contrast, a short rise will visually elongate your legs and avoid making your crotch and bottom area looks baggy and empty.
Choose a slimmer necktie
Slimmer to medium-sized neckties will avoid overwhelming your frame. Large ties should be avoided if you are short because they will make your body seem disproportionate by comparison. If you are very short, you might want  to check out ties that are both slimmer and shorter.
FASHION FLAWS
Fashion is not a democracy. In the style stakes, no one look exists to make all bodies equally beautiful. However, there are a few decrees that everyone can follow to look their personal best. First, make your tailor your new best friend. No matter what your  height or size, only a qualified tailor will be able to ensure your clothes are optimally flattering for your body type. Second, learn what looks good on you and resist jumping on the fad bandwagon (acid-washed, skinny jeans, anyone?). It’s great to experiment with trendy pieces here and there, but if you try it in the shop and it doesn’t look good, just forget about it and stick to what you know makes you look and feel great. Follow these rules and you’ll significantly increase your chances of being voted best- dressed  guy around.

HOW TO HIDE FLAWS WITH CLOTHING
How do you dress well if you’ve got a gut? How do you disguise a short waist? What exactly is the procedure for camouflaging a flat butt? And what kind of jeans should you wear if you’ve got a big butt?

GENERAL RULES
Whether you’re skinny or heavy, tall or short, you should never fall back on baggy clothes to disguise your body’s flaws. Alternately, you should never wear very tight clothes. Instead, take the extra time to buy the right clothes. Don’t be afraid to spend a  little more to camouflage a little better.

One of the best ways to complement your body with the right clothes is to find a tailor that you trust. He can be of great assistance when it comes to crafting suits and jackets that best fit your body type.
At the very least, you need someone around to give you a second opinion on your clothing. Don’t worry if you still see your love handles after an afternoon of adjustments; as long as others don’t see your gut, you’re home free.

DRESS RIGHT FOR YOUR BODY TYPY

Although Thomas Jefferson decreed that “all men were created equal,” when it comes to body type and clothing, that bold statement is simply untrue. As a result of having fewer curves, male bodies may very less in form that women’s bodies, but nevertheless, variation does exist and knowing how to dress for your body type as well as which styles to avoid is the key to honing your personal style.
One thing to always keep in mind when shopping for new clothes is that the fit of the garment is its ultimate test. If an expensive jacket just isn’t right for your body, it’s  going to look bad no matter whet the price tag. Conversely, a cheaper jacket that accentuates your assets and disguises the things you don’t  love about yourself will make you look like a million bucks even without a million-dollar price tag. So to learn about how to dress for your body type, to find the clothes that are most flattering for you, and for the  most common body-type faux pas men make (and how to avoid them), read on.
THE BULKY MAN
Stay away from horizontal  stripes
If there’s a little more of you to love,  particularly in the stomach area, avoid any kind of horizontal  stripe. While you’re at it, avoid diagonal stripes too. What you should wear with pride, however, are shirts and trousers with vertical stripes. Vertical strips draw the eye downward, elongating your silhouette and visually slimming it. Pinstripe suits are the perfect dress-up clothes for you, especially paired with a crisp black dress shirt underneath. Pinstripe dress shirts will dark jeans or black trousers. For casual wear, try to find a pair of dark corduroys with slim stripes that are made from thin material.
Avoid double-vented  jackets
The slits in the back of your jacket are referred to as “vents.” All jacket’s should cover your bottom. However if you have a larger behind that makes you feel a bit self-conscious, stay away from blazers and jackets that are double-vented (the  ones with two slits in the back) as this cut will draw  attention to your posterior. To camouflage a wider rear, go with single-vented jackets or jackets without any vents. If you already own a double- vented jacket that you love, a professional tailor should be able to sew up the slits for you at a fairly minimal cost.
Buy clothes that fit
Many mistakenly believe that tight clothing will smother imperfections and flatten out pudgy shapes. The reason this way of thinking works for woman is because woman have access to control-top underwear that creates a flatter midsection, thus allowing them to wear tighter clothes. So, unless you are willing to invest in woman’s underwear (though we implore you not to do so), tight clothing will only draw attention to your flabby bits. In a similar vein, other plus-size men believe baggy clothing will hide bulges. Not  so. Overly large clothes will only make you look bigger. The secret to looking slimmer is to choose clothes that are neither tight nor baggy, meaning that all your clothes should just skim your body without hugging it too closely.
Go monochromatic
A shirt and trousers in two extremely contrasting colors –like  black and white- will break you in half and make a large middle stand out. Choose tops and bottoms that are identical or similar in color to create a cleaner visual impression and to look 10 kilos slimmer instantly. And, of course, choose all black for the most slimming effect, but add some colored accessories to avoid looking like you have a funeral to attend.
Avoid turtlenecks
If you are heavy-set, avoid turtlenecks at all costs and opt instead for V-neck T-shirts, long sleeve tops and sweaters. This type of collar draws the eye down with the effect of creating a sleeker silhouette. In addition, a V-neck will give you the illusion of having a longer neck, particularly if you have a short neck or a double chin.
Choose prints carefully
Unless you’re  on a drunken adventure through Hawaii, stay away from T-shirts or dress shirts with large or busy prints if you’re a bulky guy. These kinds of prints will draw attention to the upper half of your body, which is especially bad if you have a large belly that you would like to conceal. Obviously, printed shirts like to conceal. Obviously, printed shirts add flair to a wardrobe, so you shouldn’t swear them off entirely. You’ll look best in a shirt with a small print that is spaced quite far apart.
Wear a belt
A belt will nip in your waistline and make it appear slimmer. Just be sure not to make it so tight that you have a belly overhang.

LET”S TALK DENIM

How to find the best style for you
Jeans have been getting a lot of air- play and all it seems to have done is leave everyone confused. Not anymore.
  There’s boot-cut, skinny leg, low-rise, dark rinse, stretch, plus-size, zipper or buttons…
 you get the idea.
“For so many years, boot-cut jeans were it,” says Lucky fashion director Hope -Greenberg. “It  was the one thing that almost every woman went to. Boot cut is universally flattering, but the trend had to go somewhere else.” Designers Nicolas Ghesquiere, Kari  Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney have included for the look is just beginning to intrigue mainstream America. Let’s try to break this down.
Denim rules
Jeans can work on all woman, no matter what age, size, etc.-but not all styles work for all woman. Wear a style because it’s flattering, not just because it’s trendy. If you don’t have the legs for skinny cut jeans, stick with boot cut styles.
a. Find Age-Appropriate Jeans.
Woman in their 30s and 40s should try a straight leg jean with no bells or whistles. Jeans should look and feel age appropriate; you don’t want to look like you’re trying too hard in a trendy jean. Choose a darker wash; some of the lighter washes will only highlight and call attention to the areas you may want to hide.
b. No Muffin Tops.
Batting a belly bulge? A boot-cut jean can help to balance out a heavier midsection. Women with a tummy typically have thinner limbs in which a boot cut will work nicely. If your legs are thicker, stick with a skinny leg jean to create balance. Make sure the jean hits across the belly, not above or below it. Also, make sure your top is long enough to cover raising your hand.
c. Check the Rear View.
Small pockets make any backside look larger; big pockets make most backsides look smaller; no pockets make hips look wider; embroidered or detailed pockets make every bottom look curvier.
Let’s face it, we all have issues. Not many of us are blessed with model figures. The Trick is the minimize the bad and accentuate the good:
     Bootylicious?
If you are larger on the backside a rise that  fits   properly in the crotch can pose a problem. Look for jean with a lower rise in the front and a higher rise in the back. Avoid flap pockets flap pocket or pockets with heavy embellishment or embroidery-they only call attention to the rear. Instead, look for larger or angled pockets to  help  camouflage and flatter.

Pancake Butt?
You need to add some curves. Look for jeans with flap pockets, heavy embellishment or embroidery. Jeans with slightly higher back pockets can also help make the rear look lifted.

Large thighs?
Stick to dark colors and don’t wear your jeans too tight or too loose. Stay away from striated coloring that highlights your thighs. Also avoid high-waist and tapered jeans, which make thighs look larger. Instead, go for styles that offer a “relaxed fit,” and with a cut that sits slightly below your natural waist.
For the Appearance of Slim Hips
Look for jeans without front pockets or jeans with slit pockets and stay away from front patch pockets. But dark colors with stitching that is the same color ( or very close ) as the fabric. Avoid light stitching and designs.
To Prevent Gapping at the Waist
If your hips are much larger than your waist then you will probably have this problem. What to do? Wear stretch denim jeans and away from crisp or heavy fabrics such as cotton. Look for jeans that are cut lower in the front and higher in the back with a contoured waist band that will stay snug to prevent unsightly gaping. Also, if your jeans are too tight at the knees and thighs, they will pull down at the back when you sit.
Shades of Blue
Basic blues are taking a backseat to dark denim this season! Whether you give into the black attack or choose from an array of gray, and brown blues sre old news.
Everyone is doing dark!
